ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
RBA is a new and growing programme offering free coaching sessions, camps and development opportunities throughout the year across Rongotai College, Evans Bay Intermediate (EBIS) and Eastern Suburbs primary schools. As we establish our full schedule, the sections below outline the key activities we’re delivering and building toward.
In January and April we have run four day free football camps at Rongotai College for year 8 & 9 (EBIS) and year 10 & 11 students.
In 2026 to date we have run free weekly coaching sessions in Seatoun, for boys & girls at EBIS and we are helping the Football and Futsal programmes at Rongotai with additional coaching and equipment resources.

2026 Season
Through out the 2026 season RBA has been supporting the programme with coaching for teams, goalies and coaches. RBA works closely with the school sports department and the football committee.
July Training Camp

July 13 - 16
Our July camp builds on previous camps and is a good mid-season opportunity to improve technical aspects of your game. Also includes specialist goal keeping coaching.
Who it’s for: Invited EBIS and Rongotai students from the football programme.
What to expect: Technical sessions, team work drills and fun games
Cost: Everything we do at RBA is free. Fully funded by old boys and our partners.
Supervision: Fully supervised by vetted RBA coaching staff. Wynton will be helped by recent old boys and senior students.
GOOD SPORTS
August 19
RBA is proud to support Good Sports, a community event exploring wellbeing, resilience and performance in sport. Hosted by the Rongotai College 1st XI Hockey Team in partnership with the Rongotai College Old Boys' Association.
Who it’s for: Students & parents.
What to expect: Hear from leading voices in sport and wellbeing as they share practical insights into resilience, performance and life beyond the game.
Cost: Students Free | Adults $20

Our December camp gets athletes ready for the year ahead. Students take part in technical training, movement development and teamwork activities.
Who it’s for: EBIS students and Rongotai College Year 9 – 11 students interested in improving their athletic ability
What to expect: Technical sessions, conditioning, fun games

Supervision: Fully supervised by vetted RBA coaching staff
