Rongotai BEST Academy (RBA) July Football Camp
Parent/Caregiver Details, Consents and Waivers Form
RBA is built on the Rongotai Way values and BEST - Being Respectful, Encouraging Brotherhood, Striving for Excellence, and Taking Pride - and exists to help young people be the best they can be through sport and activities.
RBA is pleased to advise more details on the free football camp that your child has been invited to attend.
This camp is open to a wider range of players than ever before, creating a fantastic environment for learning, development and enjoyment of the game. Participants will include players of varying ages, experience levels and playing backgrounds, and we have ensured that our coaching team has the resources and support in place to cater for all players throughout the week.
We are also pleased to confirm that a specialist goalkeeping coach will attend on Thursday 16 July to deliver dedicated goalkeeper training sessions. Rongotai College's 1st XI goalkeeper will be attending throughout the camp, providing aspiring goalkeepers with the opportunity to learn from and interact with a current senior representative of the programme.

Background on the Rongotai BEST Academy Charitable Trust
We are a brand new school and community-based sports and activities academy formed by a small group of Rongotai old boys dedicated to lifting participation and performance with the goal of providing high quality free sports lessons to Rongotai pupils and primary and intermediate aged children in the eastern suburbs. Our first sport is football and in 2025 we have provided over 80 free lessons to boys and girls.
Our vision is to create a first-class academy that strengthens school culture, inspires participation, identifies talent early, is a forum for increased old boy involvement and connects students with opportunities - whether that be personal growth, leadership/coaching, club pathways, or aspirations such as university sports scholarships.
